“Don’t mix” Beth finished.

Mick continued to eye the candle, much to Beth’s amusement.

“So then why are we, or should I say why am I, eating by candlelight?” Beth asked smiling.

“Because I’m a romantic,” Mick said puffing his chest out and grinning.

“You know what’s even more romantic then a candlelight dinner on the roof with you?”

“No?” Mick queried.

“This” Beth said before blowing out the candle and kissing Mick under the moonlight.

“It really is beautiful,” Beth said in wonder

“It really is” Mick spoke.

Beth noticed Mick’s wistful tone and turned to face him, she wasn’t surprised to see him looking at her, with longing in his eyes.

“How long before sunrise?” Beth asked.

“A few hours yet, why?” Mick asked, confused.

“Because I want you to make love to me out here” Beth replied.

Time stood still, and then moved to warp speed as their lips met.

Beth raised a hand to Mick’s cheek, and smiled when he turned into the touch before turning to face her.

“I know where you place in the world is Mick, and it isn’t out there” Beth spoke honestly.

“Where is it?” Mick asked, sounding lost.

“The exact same place as mine is, right here, on this balcony, together”

Suddenly Mick was no longer lost.

He had found his place, by Beth’s side.

“You’re wet” Beth said feeling the need to put her jaw to use rather then let it remain hanging open.

“It’s raining” Mick countered, smirking.

“And you were on the roof while it is raining why?” Beth asked, trying and failing to tear her eyes away from Mick’s chest.

“Imagine getting rained on while high on black crystal”

“Good point”

“Want to get wet with me?” Mick asked hungrily.

Beth fainted. Mick caught her.
